    Role Overview

    We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor – Social Media (Short Form + Long Form) to help us amplify our brand and storytelling across digital platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-impact videos that engage, educate, and inspire our growing community of international job seekers. From fast-paced Reels to long-form YouTube content, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our audience experiences the Get Sponsored Job brand online.

    You will collaborate closely with our content and coaching team to craft compelling visual narratives that bring our mission to life: empowering international professionals to land jobs with sponsorship in the UK. This is a remote, work-from-home role based in India.

    Key Responsibilities

    Video Editing & Content Development:

    • Edit high-quality short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn clips) that hooks viewers and delivers value within seconds.

    • Produce engaging long-form videos (YouTube episodes, webinars, testimonials) with storytelling flow, subtitles, branding, and music.

    • Repurpose raw content from Zoom calls, workshops, and webinars into platform-specific formats.

    • Maintain a consistent editing style that aligns with Get Sponsored Job’s brand voice, values, and audience needs.

    • Collaborate with the content and coaching teams to align visuals with messaging goals.

    • Create text overlays, subtitles, transitions, emojis, and visual CTAs to enhance viewer engagement.

    • Ensure fast and reliable turnaround times (typically within 48 hours of receiving raw footage).

    Content Strategy & Optimization:

    • Understand the preferences and pain points of international job seekers targeting UK roles and tailor edits accordingly.

    • Suggest creative approaches to make career content visually engaging and emotionally resonant.

    • Stay current on trends in editing, platform-specific algorithm changes, and audience consumption behavior.

    • Provide input on what kinds of content perform best based on engagement insights.

    File Management & Workflow:

    • Organize and manage video assets efficiently for easy handoff and collaboration.

    • Optimize video resolution, formats, and aspect ratios for each platform (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).

    • Use collaborative tools like Google Drive, Notion, or Trello to manage tasks, feedback, and version control.
