Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Employability Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will provide advice and support to our clients, helping them enhance their employability and achieve success in the UK and EU job market. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing CVs, optimizing LinkedIn profiles, and offering tailored employability advice to our community aligned with the training received from our Career Coaches Sabiha & Mayuri

Key Responsibilities

  1. CV Review and Enhancement:

    • Assess and provide detailed feedback on clients' CVs to ensure they are tailored to the UK/EU job market.
    • Offer guidance on content, format, and language to make CVs stand out to potential employers.
    • Work with clients to rewrite and refine their CVs, highlighting relevant skills and experiences.

  2. LinkedIn Profile Optimization:

    • Review and critique LinkedIn profiles, providing actionable insights for improvement.
    • Advise on best practices for LinkedIn profile optimization, including headline, summary, experience, skills, and endorsements.
    • Assist clients in crafting compelling LinkedIn content to increase visibility and attract recruiters.

  3. Employability Support:

    • Conduct one-on-one sessions with clients to understand their career goals and challenges.
    • Develop personalized action plans to enhance clients' employability and job search strategies.
    • Provide interview preparation, job search techniques, and networking advice tailored to the UK/EU job market.

  4. Workshops and Webinars:

    • Design and deliver engaging workshops and webinars on various employability topics.
    • Create resource materials and guides to support clients' job search efforts.

  5. Community Engagement:

    • Actively participate in and contribute to our online community, offering advice and support to job seekers.
    • Respond to client inquiries and provide ongoing assistance as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in employability coaching, career counseling, or recruitment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK/EU job market and hiring practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms.
  • Ability to deliver constructive feedback and guidance in a supportive manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with online collaboration tools.
